We evacuated Florida

Hello there,

As many of you might know, Dr Mercola and I bought a 2 bedroom fixer upper on the beach in Florida in early 2016. We poured our heart and soul (and both of our money) into it, and were moving in last fall when hurricane Matthew hit it directly as a category 3. Matthew left our home very badly damaged.  We’d been speaking at some events in California and thankfully were not home. I’ve already been through 29 hurricanes so didn’t need one more.

Last week I spent days preparing to move back in (I’d tried once previously, but found out there was still damage). The only thing left was to fix the roof, which our roofing company had promised for some time… I was there less than 48 hours back in, when we had to evacuate again because of hurricane Irma which is headed at Florida right now.

I am thinking of everyone who has been or will be in Irma’s path. Besides those 29 storms that left 4 of my homes damaged over the years, we had an f4 tornado that hit our home directly which killed my dog, cat, neighbors, and blew our two story home away (nothing left but the foundation).

All of our family members (besides our pets who we consider family) did survive.

Dr Mercola was gone on a business trip when Irma inched closer and I got the last flight to Atlanta where I ended up on the set of the Walking Dead.. I’m staying in an old church owned by Chandler Riggs (Carl!) who stars in the show.

I’ll have full updates on this adventure and sadly, still will have to deal with Irma.

I feel for those in Houston (including my own family members and one of our Health Nut News team members whose house was completely underwater, but receding back down.

I have some breaking stories below, and will keep reporting so long as I have power.

PS I’m featured in two free summits. One is me being interviewed by Dr Audrey Schnell here and the one with Dr Laara is over 2 and a half hours long and pretty fun, especially near the end! It’s a MUST watch here! <<< 2 1/2 hours and had a ball!

PPS Like our Facebook page here to see our 9 camera live streaming footage of Hurricane Irma on the actual Florida coast from the house (with beach shots and I can move the cameras virtually). I’ll keep it running until the internet goes down, but am doing remotely from Atlanta. My neighbor jokingly thanked me for going to Atlanta as now Irma has moved to the left and will make an appearance here. The neighbor said I’m not a storm chaser. I’m a storm magnet… That’s about right! 😦

Stay safe and see you on the other side. Oh and huge breaking stories below!

XO Erin Elizabeth

The harmful effects of Electromagnetic Fields explained

I’ve often noted that electromagnetic fields (EMFs) are a pernicious, hidden health risk. But exactly how does this kind of microwave radiation damage your health? Martin Pall, Ph.D., has identified and published research describing the likely molecular mechanisms of how EMFs from cell phones and wireless technologies damage plants, animals and humans. Pall has a bachelor’s in physics from Johns Hopkins and a Ph.D. in biochemistry and genetics from Caltech, and is uniquely qualified for this type of research. For the past 18 years, he’s been scouring the medical literature, integrating and drawing parallels between work done by others to answer this pressing question. Pall explains:

Magnesium deficiency raises your risk of many chronic ailments and premature death

Magnesium is important to the health of nearly every cell in your body, especially your heart, kidneys and muscles. Symptoms of a deficiency can include unexplained fatigue, abnormal heart rhythms, eye twitches and muscle spasms.

As of 2011 data, 45 percent of American adults do not get the recommended dietary allowance amount (RDA) of magnesium from their diet. Teen statistics are even more dire. Data

published in 2014 suggests nearly 92 percent of teens aged 14 to 18 do not meet the estimated average requirement for magnesium from food alone — likely because they do not eat fresh vegetables on a regular basis.

Study: Alcohol is far worse for mental health than Psychedelics

Our country’s understanding of (and attitude towards) drugs is a funny one. While it’s often seen as fine to go out every weekend to the bars with your friends, the briefest mention of LSD, peyote, or ayahuasca is likely to change peoples’ opinions of you. Is this justified? Science seems to think that it’s probably not.

Bookmark this: Over 400 links Google doesn’t want you to visit

(We feel very honored that our site (and my better half’s site) were recently mentioned as a site you should bookmark. But, in today’s climate, you need to know who is willing to tell you the truth- even if it doesn’t fit their worldview. This is also especially important right now given that Facebook has been slowly disabling features on our page and says it is their final decision, a decision that is largely based on the jokers at Snopes.) The war on truth has reached a fever pitch as Google has made it their mission to annihilate the…

Better Than Chemo: Turmeric Kills Cancer Not Patients

Researchers from the United Kingdom have just made a major breakthrough in cancer research by demonstrating for the first time in patient-derived colorectal cell lines that a turmeric extract (curcumin) is not only an effective adjunct agent to enhance conventional chemotherapy, but that it may be even more effective on its own.

Doctors and Scientists explain why vaccines aren’t safe

We are living in the age of information. If you need or want to know or learn something, there are endless websites and videos that will inform and teach. And that’s no different for information on doctors and scientists who don’t believe vaccines are safe. How many times have you spoken to family or friends who try and tell you that your “quack” belief is yours alone, or yours and Jenny McCarthy’s alone? That there are no “real” doctors or scientists who would side with you. Well, here’s a ton of info to the contrary. I couldn’t possibly post each of these videos in an article, but I’ve provided links for them below.

This Hospital Prescribes Fresh Food From Its Own Organic Farm

Five years ago, when Lankenau Medical Center was confronted with evidence that it was serving the unhealthiest county in Pennsylvania, the hospital decided to embrace the findings with an unconventional approach: building a half-acre organic farm on its campus to provide fresh produce to patients. The teaching and research hospital just outside Philadelphia was in the midst of its own patient health needs assessment in 2011 when the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation released findings…
